This project was another realtime rendered piece for the game Primordials of Amyrion. I was tasked with taking the clients game assets and increasing the quality level of the visuals to something suitably cinematic. Since the game existed as a Unity project, I extracted the content needed for the sequence and upgraded it to use the latest HDRP release. I handled all the lighting, surfacing and overall look, whilst also delivering a range of visual effects assets for things like atmospherics, the forming obelisk and ice-giant attack sequence both shown in the following videos.
I made use of all the advanced lighting features in HDRP to push the visual quality as far as could be achieved in the limited production schedule. The following images are still frames from the look-development stage.
